ABOUT

       Impact Martial Arts has been serving the Branson / Hollister area for over 25 years.  The instruction at Impact Martial Arts is very professional but personal and is family oriented. The Director of Instruction is Master Troy Burleson, 8th degree black belt. Master Burleson has been a teacher of the martial arts for over 29 years. The school's other certified instructor is Mr.Danny Hendrick, 4rd degree black belt. Mr. Hendrick brings in quality experience having been a school owner and instructor for 20 years thought out the country. We have a thriving junior instructors and leadership program. You will see many adults and juniors helping in almost every class. This program makes a profound impact on our student's learning expereince.

 

        Training Style: Our base style of martial arts is Taekwondo, a Korean form of self-defense. There are programs for everyone of all ages which are adapted to meet the needs of each individual. Our instructor's are Nationally certified and have many years of experience or are in the Instructor Development Program. They provide the best possible training to the student and promote, respect, team work, responsibility, courage, leadership and many other character traits. Training at Impact provides good physical fitness, healthy and safe environment for proper learning, children's and adult programs, leadership programs and Instructor Development, Cross training with jujitsu, grappling and weapons for adults and juniors. Private instruction is also available.

 

        Adults: (Ages 13-Above) find Taekwondo rewarding for various reasons whether it is for the great exercise and cardio-conditioning, self-defense training, confidence building or to have a great family activity together with their children, Taekwondo fits the bill. Whatever the reason, Impact Martial Arts provides a comfortable and safe environment while offering challenges to help you grow. Both men and women enjoy the many benefits Taekwono offers. Classes are adapted to meet the needs and challenges of our students. This is an exciting way to get fit physically, stay sharp mentally and be a better person because of the self discipline that is developed because of this art.

 

        Children: The Junior Program (Ages 7-12): Through a structured curriculum , children not only learn the physical skills of the martial arts but various life skills such as goal setting, leadership, team work , respect, responsibility, work ethic and positive mental attitude. Many satisfied parents have provided written and verbal testimonies on how training at Impact Martial Arts has improved their children's confidence, focus, attitude, discipline and respect as well as improved grades in school. The classes are high energy and provide an exciting avenue to learn, grow and stay healthy.

 

        Little Ninjas Program: This program is for ages 4-5-6 and is about fun, high energy, physical skills development, behavior and character training. This is a great pre-taekwondo training program for the tots
